The Lynx General Person Team is composed of individuals who have a high level of interest in the Lynx administrative systems data. Membership is determined by the respective vice president (or unit administrator). To ensure continuity, members serve staggered three-year terms and may by reappointed. Recommendations for membership are made with consideration for balanced representation from departmental users of the various administrative systems. Emphasis is placed on knowledge of the “business” processes and data as well as technical expertise.
The Team continually discusses, reviews, proposes, and advocates data coordination and management for administrative data, keeping in mind the mission of the University and the needs of all administrative and academic administrative consumers.
The Lynx General Person Team is advisory to the Vice President of Information Technology with the Associate VP of IT and Information Systems & Services serving as a liaison between the General Person Team and the VP. In addition, the Team may also advise Deans, Directors, and other University administrative personnel on the development of effective data administration, data integrity and security as the need arises.
