All rules for Housing & Residence Life are detailed in the community policies which is in the Lease Agreement Addendum. To view the whole addendum click here. Below are general rules:

• No alcohol on the premises: Weber State University is a dry campus.
• No pets (only fish are allowed)
• No firearms and knives over six inches
• Quiet hours: weekdays 10:00 PM and weekends 12:00 PM (24 hour courtesy quiet hours)

If you are locked out of your room or lose your keys, Housing & Residence Life has 24 hour on call Resident Assistants to unlock your door.

All lockouts are subject to a $5 fee after the first lockout per semester.

You must complete all the following steps to retain your security deposit:

1. 45 day written notice of intent to vacate
2. Clean and vacate all personal items including kitchen items and trash
3. Setup a walk through/inspection of apartment with housing staff
4. Keys must be turned in at the end of the walk through/inspection
5. Change of address with the University and Post Office

Security deposit will be mailed to the address listed with the university within 30 days of checkout or automatically refunded to credit/debit card used for payment (subject to Cashiers Office's terms and conditions).

All room change requests must be approved by the Assistant Director of Housing and Residence Life and the Marketing Coordinator. To make a room change request there must be a valid reason for the change or another resident willing to switch rooms. All room changes must be documented with the Housing Office.

To make a room change request come to the main housing office at University Village during regular office hours (8:00 AM to 4:30 PM) M-F.

You may request maintenance by filling out the maintenance request form or emailing maintained at maintenance1@weber.edu You must provide the facility, room, and detailed description of the problem.

If the nature of the problem will cause considerable damage to the facility or is hazardous to the health and safety of residents, then call the RA on duty at 801.725.0090 (UV) or 801.510.9796 (PT/Wasatch/Married).

Equipment checkout:

To checkout recreational equipment such as billiards and ping pong equipment, you must leave your Wildcat Id or collateral in place of the equipment.

Movie Checkout:

Movies can be checked out for 48 hours after filling out the checkout form. A total of two movies can be checked out at once. If the movie is not returned within 48 hours, charges will be applied to your student account.

Payment Plan:

Payment plan residents need to setup a payment plan online with the Cashier's Office. All instructions may be found on the Cashier's web site. You can click here to go to the web site.

Payment in Full:

To pay in full you can pay over the phone with the Cashier's Office or through your student portal under the Student Services tab. Payment in full must be made by August 1st for fall semester, December 1st for spring semester, and April 1st for summer semester.

Payment with Financial Aid:

To pay with financial aid there are a series of forms and documents to fill out. Please call the Housing Office at 801.626.7275 for more information.
