Isaac Marshall, President

Isaac is a senior at Weber state majoring in Microbiology with a Chemistry minor. Following his undergraduate degree, he has plans to go on to medical school to pursue a career as a physician. In addition to being a part of the honors board, he is an officer of the WSU AMSA (pre-med) club and he volunteers with a local hospice company and at a women’s shelter. In his spare time, he enjoys swimming, singing, hiking, playing the cello, and gardening.

Samantha Edmunds 

Samantha is currently a junior at Weber State University. She is working on getting a Bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in neuroscience. She plans to one day get her Ph.D in Neuroscience to further understand the mysteries of the human brain. This is her third year serving on the Honors Student Advisory Board. She loves to work with the students and teachers in the Honors Program, give back to the community, and is excited to be serving as this years President of the Honors Student Advisory Board. Sam loves to joke around and loves to see people laugh and smile. In her free time, you can find Sam playing soccer, running, playing the ukulele, dancing or reading.

Alexia Kreinbrink 

Alexia is a sophomore majoring in chemistry. After graduating with her bachelors, she plans to go to graduate school. She is a member of the Chemistry Club, Aletheia Club, and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Currently, she works as a math and chemistry tutor in the Appointment Tutoring Center. She loves to read, play video games, solve puzzles, and spend time with her younger brothers.

Chase Maddock

Chase is a senior at Weber State and will graduate with a BS in Athletic Training, working toward a MS and professional practice doctorate of Athletic Training (DAT). He is coming off an internship with the Green Bay Packers as an Athletic Training Intern, and will be the Teaching Assistant for the Health Promotion and Human Performance Department this year. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his two kids, allowing others to beat him in Mario Cart, and eating hot wings and pizza.

Tanner Telford

Tanner is a junior at Weber State majoring in secondary education in English and minoring in psychology education. This is his first year as part of the Honors Student Advisory Board. He is a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society, the Executive Vice President of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars at WSU, and a resident assistant (RA) at the University Village residence halls. He intends to receive his master's degree in English from WSU before receiving his Ph.D. from the University of Utah. Tanner loves to draw, write, read, and play volleyball in his free time.

Tia Walker

Tia is a senior at Weber State majoring in business administration/human resource. She is entering her first year being on the Honors Student Advisory Board. She is a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, Phi Kappa Phi, and SHRM. Tia currently works for the Office of Access and Outreach  at WSU as a tutor, helping high school students in a variety of subjects as needed. In her free time, she likes to spend time with friends and family, watch football (Go Patriots!), help others, and listen to music.
