Corbin Standley 
President

Corbin is a senior at Weber State majoring in psychology with a minor in vocal performance. In addition to serving as the President for the Honors Student Advisory Board, he serves in leadership and membership roles in numerous other honor societies. He is active in the Weber State Concert Choir and works for the Center for Community Engaged Learning as a Student Community Research Coordinator analyzing data and conducting research for community partners. In his free time, he enjoys singing, playing piano, and volunteering. After graduating from Weber State, Corbin plans to pursue his Ph.D in clinical psychology.

Quade Standley

Quade Standley is a sophomore at Weber State University majoring in pre-engineering. He is entering his first year being on the Honors Student Advisory Board. Quade is also the treasurer of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and works as a manager of Fresh Market. Working out at the gym with his friends, playing basketball, and following all types of sports are a few things that Quade enjoys doing in his free time.
 

Samantha Edmunds

Samantha is currently a sophomore at Weber State University. She is working on getting a Bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in neuroscience. She plans to one day get her Ph. D in Neuroscience to further understand the mysteries of the human brain. This is her second year serving on the Honors Student Advisory Board. She loves to work with the students and teachers in the Honors Program and loves to help coordinate the service activities that the Honors Program participates in; she loves to give back to the community. Sam loves to joke around and loves to see people laugh and smile. In her free time, you can find Sam playing soccer, running, playing the ukulele, dancing or reading.

Jefferey Tuveson

Jeff is a senior at Weber State majoring in accounting. He is a member of Beta Alpha Psi at Weber State and a non-traditional student. Jeff currently works locally at Smith and Edwards and handles inventory and information technology systems. In his free time, he likes to spend time with his wife and 2-year old son. After his undergraduate degree, he plans to prepare and apply to medical school and/or enter a Masters of Accounting program and obtain a CPA license.

Zachary Gibson

Zack is a junior at Weber State.  He is majoring in medical laboratory science and also working on a minor in chemistry.  He is the Vice-President of the Weber State University Medical Laboratory Science Club and is an active member of the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science.  He loves interacting with patients in his work at Foothill Family Clinic and through volunteering at a local hospice company.  In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, mountain biking, reading, and spending time with his family.  After earning his Bachelor’s degree from Weber State, Zack plans on attending medical school and hopes to become a pediatrician.

Clarence "Boomer" Kelley
Honors/BIS Senator

Boomer is a senior at Weber State and is a Bachelors of integrated studies degree major with a sociology minor. His three legs for his BIS degree are business administration, public administration and health administration services. Some other clubs that he has been involved with at Weber include the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and Masters Swimming. He enjoys learning all about how the world works and how people think as well as exercising and watching movies. After Weber, he plans to go to graduate school in healthcare administration/public health and getting involved in healthcare and politics.
