Dr. Judy Elsley, Director
Born and raised in England, Dr. Elsley moved to the U.S. in 1979. After living on the Arizona/Utah border for a couple of years, she went back to school to earn a Master's degree in English at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She completed her MA in 1984, and went on to the University of Arizona where she earned a Ph.D. in 1990. Her dissertation explored the semiotics of quilting, and many of her publications focus on quilts in literature and culture.
She also writes and publishes personal essays. She teaches a variety of writing and literature classes at Weber State University, where she's worked since 1990. She's also a part-time administrator, running the Writing Across the Curriculum Program, then co-coordinating First Year Experience, and then directing the Bachelor of Integrated Studies Program.
She's married to Alan Livingston, who has three grown daughters, and they have two adorable grandchildren.
Marilyn Diamond, Honors Advisor
Marilyn has worked at Weber State University since 1973. She graduated from Utah State University with a degree in education and from Weber State University with a degree in English. She has been the Honors Program Advisor since 1999. Marilyn has written and performed Cowboy Poetry throughout the West. She is also an avid runner.

Aubrey Jenkins Lord,
Departmental Honors Manager
Aubrey has been at Weber State University since 2007, and joined the Honors Program staff in June of 2013. She is excited to continue her journey at WSU, and looks forward to new experiences in the Honors Program.
When not in the office, Aubrey loves music, anything crafty, and the latest and greatest technology. She is currently pursuing a degree in English.
