Brigham Young University will be hosting the next regional conference for Phi Alpha Theta on 21 March 2009. The annual conference provides a friendly and encouraging environment in which students can present their original research to faculty and fellow students from throughout the Utah region. Paper submissions should be 10 to 12 double-spaced pages with a 20 to 25 minutes presentation time. Awards will be given for the best undergraduate and graduate papers delivered by Phi Alpha Theta members. Non-members, who will deliver their papers on separate panels, are also invited to participate. Students who wish to present at the conference should email a detailed abstract of their paper to phialphathetabyu@gmail.com. The deadline for submission of papers is 1 February 2009.
The Phi Alpha Theta conference offers an excellent opportunity meet with people with similar interests and to develop broadly-applicable professional skills. I heartily encourage you to participate.
