Welcome to the Health Sciences Department in the Dr. Ezekiel R. Dumke College of Health Professions. Our department provides the prerequisite health sciences classes for some of the best health professions programs in the country.  These classes are delivered in several educational formats including face-to-face, online, videoconferencing, concurrent enrollment, and independent study.

The Department of Health Sciences offers an Associate of Science Degree in Health Sciences. This exciting degree provides students the opportunity to complete a full Associate Degree which includes the prerequisites for all the health professions programs at Weber State University. In addition to the biomedical core series, the degree includes classes in medical terminology, pathophysiology, pharmacology, biocalculations, and case studies. This degree is transferrable to other universities and colleges and can be used as a spring board to the various college programs as well as related disciplines such as medical sales, medical social worker, medical accounting etc.

We invite you to visit the campus and meet with the faculty and staff to discuss the next step in attaining your dream of becoming a health professional.
