ENGL 1010 - A N D - ENGL 2010
Prequisites to your Composition courses are ACT English and Reading test scores of 17 or higher or a "C" or better in ENGL 0955. For possible placement into ENGL 1010, you may take the Reading Comprehension and/or Sentance Skills ACCUPLACER exam. Go to weber.edu/accuplacer for more information on ACCUPLACER testing. An ACT English test score of 29 or higher will place you into ENGL 2010. You must earn a grade of “C” or better to fulfill the Composition requirement. MATH 1030 - O R - MATH 1040 - O R - MATH 1050 - O R - MATH 1080 - O R - PHIL 2200* - O R - A score of 70 or better on the College Level Math portion of the ACCUPLACER exam. - O R - A score of 3 or higher on the AP Calculus or AP Statistics exam
To enroll in MATH 1030, 1040, 1050 or 1080, you must have either earned an ACT Math score of 23 or above within the past 24 months, completed MATH 1010 with a grade of "C" or better within the past 12 months, or earned a sufficient ACCUPLACER score within the past 12 months. MATH 1010 has a prerequisite of a "C" or better in MATH 0955** or MATH 0960 or an appropriate ACCUPLACER score. MATH 0960 has a prerequisite of a "C" or better in MATH 0950 or an appropriate ACCUPLACER score. To enroll in PHIL 2200, you must have either earned an ACT Math score of 23 or above within the past 24 months, completed MATH 0955** or MATH 0960 with a grade of "C" or better within the past 12 months, or earned a sufficient ACCUPLACER score within the past 12 months. MATH 0960 has a prerequisite of a "C" or better in MATH 0950 or an appropriate ACCUPLACER score. For possible placement into a higher-level course, you may take the Math ACCUPLACER exam.
