The prerequisite to your Quantitative Literacy course is an ACT Math sub-score of 23 or higher that is fewer than two years old or a "C" or better in MATH 1010.

MATH 1010 has a prerequisite of a "C" or better in MATH 0955* or MATH 0960 or an appropriate ACCUPLACER score.

You can meet the Computer & Information Literacy requirement by successfully completing the competency exams with a “C” or better, the equivalent courses with a “C-” or better, or a combination of both. Your options for meeting the requirements are outlined on the next panel.

CREDIT/NO CREDIT EXAMS:

  • Register and pay for a half credit for each exam
  • See hours and sign-up times at http://programs.weber.edu/cil as well as in Building 2 on the door of 211
  • Tests are computer and Internet based
  • You may retake the exam two times during the semester for which you are registered
  • Retakes cost $5 per exam (paid to the Cashier’s office, 2nd floor of the Student Service Center)
  • If you fail both retakes during the semester, you must register for the equivalent classes (see list) to fulfill the requirement. Failed exams will not receive credit (will not affect your GPA)
