Commercial Emphasis Minor in French, German and Spanish
Course Requirements for a Commercial Emphasis Minor in French
Requirements
- Prerequisite Courses: Completion of first and second-year courses in the language or equivalent preparation.
- A grade of "C" or better in courses used toward the minor (a grade of "C-" is not acceptable).
- A minimum of 15 upper division hours in the foreign language. At least 3 credit hours of minor courses must be completed at WSU.
Prerequisite Courses
Complete the following 12 credit hours (or demonstrate equivalent proficiency)
- French 1010 First Year I (3)
- French 1020 First Year II (3)
- French 2010 Second Year I (3)
- French HU2020 Second Year II (3)
Required Courses (10 credit hours)
- French 3060 Grammar and Composition (3)
- French 3160 Introduction to Literature (3)
- French 3710 Business Language I (3)
- French 4710 Business Language II (3)
Choose one of the following courses:
- French DV3550 Cultural Heritage I (3) Variable Title
- French 3560 Cultural Heritage II (3) Variable Title
- French 3570 Special Topics in Culture (3) Variable Title
