Federal Work Study | |||
Work Based on Financial NeedThe Federal Work-Study Program provides jobs for undergraduate and graduate students with financial need attending eligible post-secondary schools. This program allows students to earn money to pay educational expenses. Pay is based on federal minimum wage standards, but varies with job requirements, skill and experience levels. When you apply for federal financial aid by completing the FAFSA, you can indicate on your application that you want work-study assistance.
NOTE: To activate your federal work-study you must initiate a job search once you have picked up your work study card from the Financial Aid and Scholarships office. If you do not activate your federal work-study (FWS) account within 30 days of the start of the first day of class, the FWS award offer will be removed and re-cycled. |
