Portfolio and Public Reading
Before or during their final semester students with a creative writing emphasis are required to:
- Submit a portfolio of finished work, including an introduction.
- Participate in a public reading arranged by the department.
- Meet with an advisor and the department chair.
English majors with a creative writing emphasis are eligible for the professional and technical writing minor.
