Purchasing procures all supplies and services required by departments of the university; locates and ensures adequate and continuing sources of supply; provides the necessary assistance to acquire such supplies; insures compliance with all applicable state, federal and university regulations; and provides assistance, consultation, and advice regarding all procurement needs of the university.
