Medical & Dental Insurance

Weber State University currently offers health and dental insurance options that provide for a combination of hospital, surgical, major medical expense and dental benefits to you and your eligible dependents.  Dependents are covered until they reach the age of twenty-six (26) or until they are married.   Most of the cost of these programs is paid by the University; your cost depends on the options you choose.  Part-time salaried employees working one-half (1/2) time for nine months (.375 FTE) or more annually may participate in the health and dental insurance offered to full-time salaried employees at the current pro-rated cost schedule.   Insurance benefits begin the day of hire.  Employees may change insurance plans once a year during open enrollment, usually in the months of April or May.

The University offers medical and dental insurance coverage with Educator's Mutual.

New Employees will need to make an appointment with the Human Resources Department, Ext. 7230, to complete the paper work for enrollment.
