After a minimum of six years full-time service and with the approval of the appropriate supervisor, dean and vice president, an executive, professional and in some instances classified staff members may be granted leave with pay for the purpose of study, research, or other professional improvement and advancement which increases their usefulness to the university. Salary and length of leave may vary according to policy.
