Richard Sandau is the Environmental Health and
Safety Manger at Weber State University. He oversees and manages
support for chemical, biological, occupational, and radiological health
and safety, including workers compensation. Before accepting the management position, Richard was the Hazardous Materials Specialist. He is still instrumental in managing the hazardous waste program, responding to chemical spills, training employees on safe handling of hazardous materials, and supervising the respiratory protection program. Richard received a Bachelors Degree in Environmental Engineering with a minor in Mandarin Chinese from Utah State University. Richard lives in Ogden with his wife and three children. He enjoys spending time with his family, many different types of music, and outdoor activities. |
