Weber State University Facilities are constructed and maintained toin order to support the university’s educational mission. Cosistent with this mission are:

• Programs oriented toward and involving students
• Community Programs
• Programs that support and develop cultural activities

Rates
Room rental is waived in most cases for university activities created and administered by WSU entities. Additional costs for labor, catering and special needs may be applicable.

Student Clubs and Organizations pay a $50 per Ballroom fee.

Sponsoring Outside Groups
Considerations may be made depending on the relationship of the group to the WSU entity. The group should have an appropriate tie to the WSU entity. If the “sponsored group” is a for-profit entity, regular charges apply. Attempts to circumvent this policy may result in loss of rental privileges and a fine equaling facility rental.

Catering Options
WSU Dining Services provides top quality dining options and services. Choose from our existing menus or create a tailored menu with our on-site chef and event coordinators. Event Coordinators can provide help to plan and organize all food and beverage functions.

Audio/Visual
LCD Screens are available in every meeting room. The Shepherd Union offers a variety of LCD projectors, DVD/VCR players, and visualizers. All these items can be secured at a reasonable cost. The entire Union is wireless.

Loading Dock/Freight
The Union has one loading dock on the west side of the building. A freight elevator is located adjacent to the loading dock.
