WSU Dining Services

WSU Dining Services provides top-quality dining options and services. Choose from existing menus or create a tailored menu with our on-site chef and event coordinators. Event coordinators can provide help to plan and organize all food and beverage functions.

Conference Retail Food Coupons can be created for you event allowing your attendees to use the variety of food venues in the Union. Event planners are only charged for the amount of the food purchases on a master bill. This is a great solution for budget-conscious event planners. Participating Food Vendors

Outside Catering Exemption

An Outside Caterer Exemption Form is required for bringing in an outside food services entity. Entities must be licensed and insured. This form must be completed and approved by WSU Dining Services two weeks prior to event date and submitted to the Scheduling, Events and Conferences office.

Food Purchase Under Petty Cash Limit

Off-campus food purchases for refreshments at an on-campus event are authorized provided that the total food value does not exceed the petty cash limit – currently $100 per event, as per PPM 5-30aIIF.

Food Exemption

A Food Exemption Form is required for bringing in outside food above the petty cash limit per event. The Food Exemption Form must be completed and approved by WSU Dining Services two weeks prior to event date. Forms need to be turned into the Scheduling, Events and Conferences office.

Failure to follow WSU Dining Services Guidelines will result in charges equal to catering revenue lost.
