Habitat for Humanity of Weber and Davis Counties is among the more than 2,300 Habitat affiliates worldwide helping families build, and then buy, their own homes - at a no-profit price, with a no-interest loan, and affordable monthly payments.
Habitat of Weber and Davis Counties has built 7 houses since its founding in 1995.
How does Habitat do it?
- Habitat selects partner families based on income, need and willingness to partner.
- Habitat affiliates use volunteer labor and donated materials to keep costs low and take no profit for their services.
- A no-interest loan is made to the homeowner to cover the cost of the project. Payments made by the homeowners are placed in a revolving fund to help serve others in need.
How to Get Involved

All volunteers participating in work parties are required to complete a release form annually. Copies of the form are available at every work party or you can print and complete this copy of the Release and Waiver of Liability and bring it with you to the first work party you attend.
Volunteers under the age of 18 must provide a special version of the release form. This form requires the signature and approval of a parent or guardian. You can print and complete this copy of the Release and Waiver of Liability for Minors and bring it with you to the first work party you attend.
