Lambda Pi Eta is the National Communication Association's honor society for undergraduates majoring in communication. To be eligible to join LPH, students must have a 3.0 cumulative GPA with 60 semester hours and at least a 3.25 GPA in your communication courses. More than 18,000 students at 400 universities nationwide have been inducted.
Joining LPH gives students national recognition for their academic accomplishments and a way to document that success for employers and graduate schools. It provides ways to become actively engaged with like-minded peers in scholarly pursuits and community service projects. Students also dress up their graduation robes by ordering red-and-white honor cords.
Students are invited to join LPH in the middle of March. They are inducted and corded in ceremonies before graduation in the spring.
