Technical Writing Internship with UTA - PAID

Ogden Raptors PR/Digital Media Internship - UNPAID

My name is Robbie Bullough and I am the director of broadcasting and media relations for the Ogden Raptors. Are you interested in interning with the Raptors this summer? Having done internships myself when I was in college, I remember feeling like I was getting better experience at school than the busy work I was doing as an intern. I am confident a summer internship with the Raptors would be worthwhile, specifically for those interested in sports broadcasting, public and media relations, and social media marketing.

The internships would be tailored to your individual interests and career goals. Assignments could include assisting with live game broadcasts, conducting player interviews, preparing game notes, writing game recaps and other articles for web publication, responding to media inquiries, and managing social media accounts and website content.

This should be a productive and positive experience for all interns, so I want you to be able to do what you enjoy. There is also flexibility to suggest and implement any ideas that you may have, which is quite different from traditional internship experiences.

As a bonus, Ogden is also hosting the 2016 All-Star game, so summer interns will have the rare opportunity to be involved in this event as well.

The season runs from June 17-September 8 and internship dates and times may be tailored to accommodate interns' schedules and availability. While the internships are unpaid, I can promise fitted caps and far too many burgers and hot dogs!

An internship experience with the Ogden Raptors is unique and provides an intern with the flexibility to do what you really enjoy doing and the ability to obtain real experience in your desired field. At season's end, all interns will have gained valuable experience in the sports industry and will have tangible samples to showcase their work to potential employers.

Please contact me by phone or email if you are interested in this internship.
