WSU has $6 million available for scholarships. Start applying now! These funds are awarded on three different levels: the university, the colleges, and the departments. · To be considered for any scholarship you MUST update your personal information with the WSU scholarship office by February 1, 2008. For more information go to http://weber.edu/scholarships/continuingscholarships.html. · To be considered for a scholarship from the College of Science, additional application forms are required* See http://www.weber.edu/COS/studentresources/scholarships.html for more information. · Additional forms are required for Chemistry Scholarships.* Contact the chemistry secretary, Margaret Read, department to obtain the forms or download them by clicking on forms. All chemistry scholarship applications should be delivered to: Margaret Read Hand delivery will be accepted by Margaret Read in room 502M on the 5th floor of the Science Lab Building (SL 502M). You also may e-mail your application as an attached file to Margaret Read, as long as it can be saved as a Word Perfect 5.0 to 9.0 file without changing the original format. *You must be at least a Junior (60+ credit hours), and you must be a major in the College of Science to be considered for a scholarship by the College Science or a department with the College of Science. Application Deadline is February 1, 2008. All scholarship applications from the Department of Chemistry are due by Feb. 1, 2008. Awards will be given at the end of spring semester and will apply to the next academic year, starting fall semester. |
