Carl D. Perkins Information

Weber State University receives federal CTE funding from the Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Act of 2006. Funds are used to help students attain academic and technical skills to help them succeed in high skill, high wage, or high demand occupations. The Act requires the university to report on student progress in achieving negotiated performance targets in the Perkins core performance indicators. The following links show the current negotiated performance targets and the resulting local plan for accomplishing these targets.

In coordination with the Utah State Board of Education and the Career and Technical Education Department, Weber State University applied for the PERKINS V Grant through the US Department of Education. Please review the 2020 WSU Perkins V Comprehensive Local Needs Assessment and leave any questions or comments here.
