If you're interested in pursuing a Double Major in Early Childhood and Elementary Education, contact the Teacher Education advisor. You must declare a program of study, and apply and be accepted into the Teacher Education Program.

The program has a competitive admissions process. A limited number of applicants are admitted in March for Fall Semester and in October for Spring Semester. Please contact the department for more information and deadline dates. Admission to the Teacher Education Program is a separate process from Weber State University admission.

When you are admitted to the Teacher Education Program, you must attend a new admission orientation.

Note: You must be fingerprinted and have a background clearance check before starting the professional education course work. If the background check reveals criminal misconduct that has not been cleared by the Utah Professional Practice Commission, admission will be revoked.
