Weber State University offers programs leading to licensure in Special Education Mild-to-Moderate Disabilities.
Undergraduates may choose the Special Education major. These individuals are eligible for licensure in Special Education Mild-Moderate (K - 12). Please see the online catalog for details.
Undergraduates with a Secondary teaching major may choose to add Special Education licensure courses. Upon graduation they are eligible for licensure in their major field (grades 7-12) as well as in Special Education Mild-Moderate (K - 12).

Weber State University also offers a program for in-service teachers who wish to add a license to teach Special Education. These teachers may elect to take graduate level courses as part of the MEd program or simply as courses leading to licensure. Please contact the Masters of Education program for further details and an MEd application.
