Teacher Education Scholarship Information
There are several scholarship options for students in Teacher Education programs. 

T. H. Bell Teaching Incentive Loan Program (2009-2010 academic year)

The Teaching Incentive Loan (TIL)  is funded by the Utah State Legislature.  TIL recipients are required to pursue a teaching degree, obtain state educator licensing, and the teach in Utah public schools for a period of time equal to the time they received loan monies. See the above link for additional information and application.  Applications are submitted to the Utah State Office of Education.

Weber State University Scholarships

Every year WSU offers close to $12 million in scholarships to new, continuing, and transfer students.  The Scholarship program at WSU serves students throughout their college career.  There are academic, activity, departmental, private sponsored, non-resident and graduate scholarships available.  In addition, there are need-based programs, called "special condition" or "sponsor awards."  The 2010-20101 Scholarship Application will be available September 1, 2009.  To be considered for any WSU scholarships, you must complete the WSU scholarship application annually.  Priority deadline is January 11, 2010. 

To apply for scholarships login to your your eWeber Student Portal.  Click on the Student Services tab and then on Scholarships in the Financial Services channel.

There may also be scholarships available through your individual departments.  Check with your major advisor for information.
