Weber State University Praxis II Testing Requirements
The Utah State Office of Education (USOE)
requires all teacher licensure candidates to pass a Praxis II content-area exam
to be eligible for licensing and to meet No Child Left Behind mandates. Effective January 1, 2011, all licensure applicants must pass the
Praxis II content tests as a condition of licensure. It is strongly recommended for Student Teaching candidates to take and pass Praxis II tests in both their
academic majors and minors prior to student teaching, where tests exist.
Test dates for all Praxis exams are available on the Educational Testing Service (ETS) website: http://www.ets.org/praxis/ut. WSU is an approved ETS testing center. Note that the WSU Test Center Site is #04607 and the attending institution/recipient code is #4941. YOU MUST IDENTIFY BOTH WSU AND USOE AS TEST SCORE RECIPIENTS!
Study materials for the Praxis II exams are available in the WSU Stewart Library. They are on hold under the name Kristin Radulovich.
Computer based tests are not available at Weber State University testing centers at this time. The list of computer testing cites is available on the ETS website.
After you have taken the test, you are responsible for bringing a copy of all pages of your test score report into the Teacher Education Advisement Center. You must go online to the ETS website to download your scores. Be sure to save a copy on your computer for future reference. You can download your scores for no additional fee for the first 30 days after the scoring period.
