The goal of the summit is to share ideas, build collaboration, and develop a network of colleagues with faculty at institutions in the West.
The Teacher Education Summit is centered around four teacher preparation areas: Numeracy, Literacy, Student Teaching and Secondary Education. Participants will be in the same group for both days. Assessment and field experience will be topics built into each groups discussion and planning. Registration is $75. Click here to register online.
The Summit kicks off with a “Get to know you dinner” on Wednesday night, September 28 at 7:00 at the Sonora Grill Downtown. We will be meeting at the Best Western Hotel at 6:30 and will carpool/caravan up. Download the agenda for Thursday and Friday here.
We will have packets for you at your hotel or at dinner. In there you will find a campus map, parking pass for the two days in the A12 parking lot by the Hurst Center, information about Ogden to help you choose dinner spots for Thursday, the agenda, name tags and anything else we feel like sending your way!
Breakfast is at your hotel each day. We will provide lunch Thursday and Friday. Dinner Thursday is on your own.
