Weber State University is hosting the 2014 Utah Collegiate DECA State Career Development Conference February 21st and 22nd. The 2014 International Career Development Conference will be held in Washington, D.C. from April 23-26, 2014. Students also participate in one of six Professional Development Academies, including business and industry career seminars, discussions, and professional networking.


WSU Collegiate DECA Students Win Big at 2014 State Career Development Conference


                 The Weber State University Chapter of Collegiate DECA competed with students from other Utah colleges and universities at                   the 2014 State Career Development Conference hosted by Weber State University on February 21 – 22.  Competitive events                included Business Simulations, Case Studies, and Prepared Presentations.  Fifty one Weber State Collegiate DECA     
                  members competed, and the following WSU winners have the opportunity to compete at the International Career Development Conference, in Washington DC.

Out of fifty one Weber State students who participated, twelve finished in 1st place, thirteen in 2nd place and ten in 3rd place. The WSU Chapter of Collegiate DECA did an outstanding job and will be attending the International Career Development Conference, April 23-26, in Washington DC.
