The pre-professional level requires two academic years, leads to an Associate of Applied Science degree, and qualifies the student for the Respiratory Therapy Bachelor of Science program, providing eligibility to national credentialing and licensure to practice Respiratory care. Acceptance to the pre-professional level requires program completion through the Bachelor of Science degree level.
Programs for Respiratory Therapy are available through WSU-Ogden, WSU-Davis, and Provo. There is no online program offered in Respiratory Therapy. Application deadlines and start dates vary for each program location.

Respiratory Therapy Application
- Deadline to apply for the WSU-Ogden program is February 1 of each year for a Fall semester start date.
- Deadline to apply for the Provo program through Utah Valley Regional Medical Center is November 1 of each year for a Summer semester start date.
- Deadline to apply for the WSU-Davis program is August 1 of every even year (2012, 2014, etc.) for a Spring semester start date.
