It is my pleasure to serve as the associate dean of the Dr. Ezekiel R. Dumke College of Health Professions. As Dean Shelley F. Conroy states in her message, our college is a leader in preparing the health care workforce around the world. We have our campus-based and outreach programs in Utah, as well as several programs outside the state. As associate dean, my job is to serve the department chairs, faculty and staff of the college in fulfilling their missions. I manage routine internal operations of the college. I am also the director of our new Master of Health Administration program. My job is to help students enroll in the program, assist faculty who teach in the MHA, and I teach a couple of graduate courses. I am also privelged to teach undergraduate courses to students working on degrees in health administration, long-term care administration and health promotion. I'd be happy to visit with you. Please feel free to drop by my office on the top floor, north end of the Marriott Allied Health Sciences building (401). Ken Johnson, Ph.D. Biography Dr. Johnson holds a Ph.D. in health education. His interests are in health care administration as well as adolescent health. He had 15 years of experience in health care, holding positions in hospital and clinic administration and marketing, prior to his appointment at Weber State in 1998. Dr. Johnson continues to hold a faculty position in the Department of Health Administrative Services and advises students interested in long-term care administration and health promotion. |
