
Students with a BS degree develop a background in information systems technologies and their application to the provision of health care, advanced statistical procedures and management applicable to information systems, human resources and quality improvement in health care. AAS degree graduates learn technical functions such as coding diseases and operations, releasing medical information appropriately, maintaining statistical measures, using related computer application software and supervising employees.
