
The Emergency Care and Rescue Department offers certifications and associate degrees in emergency medicine, including the Emergency Medical Technician-Basic (EMT-B) and Paramedic.
The EMT-B is a one semester, six credit-hour course that allows you to take the National Registry Paramedic Test to become a licensed EMT-B. The Paramedic program is a two-semester (full time) or four semester (part time) program that allows you to take the National Registry Paramedic Test to become a licensed Paramedic.
