At today's DCHP Marriott Professional Development Committee meeting,
the committee unanimously approved a classified and professional staff
development initiative for all regular DCHP classified and professional
staff. Upon completion of the appropriate workshops and the receipt of
T3 certification from the WSU Technology Training Team, each classified
and professional staff member will become eligible for a one time $100
Professional Development Stipend for each new T3 certification
completed. Supervisors are encouraged to include these certifications
as part of the PREP goal setting process. When a staff member receives
their certification, the supervisor should forward a copy to Julie
Austin in the Dean's Office to process their stipend payment.
Although faculty are also invited to complete the courses and
certifications they are not currently eligible to apply for the
DCHP stipends.
