Cycle of Programs to be Reviewed
(Revised September 2011)
Program reviews take place over three academic semesters. The first semester is the self-study preparation. The second semester is the on-campus visit of the site team. The third semester is the presentation of findings to the University Program Review Standing Committee. All WSU academic programs will be reviewed at least once every five years (see schedule below). Exceptions to the five-year cycle may occur for the following reasons:
- Programs whose prior review resulted in a determination that the subsequent review should occur sooner than five years; or
- Programs whose program review is coincident with a professional accreditation review, and the professional accreditation process has a different review cycle length.
The years listed below indicates year of self-study preparation and on-campus visit.
