What's Next Checklist

Thank you for your interest in Weber State University. Here are some helpful hints to get you through the admissions and registration processes and into class. You can contact the Student Recruitment and Orientation Office at (801) 626-6050 with any questions.

	Apply for Admission and Scholarships Complete and submit an application for Admissions/Scholarship scholarship (also available online) Submit your $30 application fee. Send your official transcripts to the Admissions Office at: Weber State University Admissions 1137 University Circle Ogden UT 84408-1137 (801) 626-6747 Keep a copy of your current school catalog for possible assistance in articulating the transfer of courses. Scholarship Deadline: March 1
	Apply for Federal Financial Aid Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) available through the Financial Aid Office or online at www.FAFSA.ed.gov. Submit a Financial Aid transcript from any previous institutions where you have received aid. Submit supporting documents including the WSU application for aid. Priority Deadline: March 1
	Apply for On-Campus Housing Housing fills quickly. We recommend that you apply and place a deposit early.
	Sign Up for a Transfer Orientation Go to www.weber.edu/orientation or call (801) 626-6050 to sign up for a spring or summer orientation session.
	Get Advised Make arrangements to visit with your major adviser or an adviser from the Academic Advisement Center. This can be done individually, or as a part of a Transfer-Student Orientation.
	Visit Campus Call Student Recruitment and Orientation and arrange a visit to campus at (801) 626-6050, at (800) 848-7770, ext. 6050, or at recruit1@weber.edu. You can also sign up for a visit online at www.weber.edu/recruitment.
	Register for Classes You will receive a catalog and semester schedule as soon as they are available after you have been admitted. The class schedule and catalog are available online. We recommend that you attend a Transfer Orientation and meet with an advisor PRIOR to registering.
	Take a Placement Test If you have not completed Math or English at your previous insitution, or did not submit ACT/SAT scores for initial placement, or feel that your scores did not reflect your ability, please visit one of the WSU Testing Centers and take a Accuplacer test.
	Pay Your Tuition Tuition payments are due two weeks prior to the start of any given semester. Please be on time to avoid your courses being dropped. We recommend that you take advantage of the Tuition-By-10 and Federal Financial Aid programs.
