 Transfer Application Process
Transfer Admissions

The first step to getting started at WSU is getting admitted. This page will give you all the information you need about what it means to be a transfer student, what the requirements are to be admitted, how to complete the application process, how to obtain a transcript from an in-state institution, and much more.

Transfer students will be considered for admission to Weber if they have:

-    completed at least 30 semester credit hours at an accredited institution
-    have a cumulative college GPA of a 2.0

Students who do not have at least 30 semester credit hours must apply as a freshman.

Transfer students with a GPA below 2.0 will be referred to the Admissions Committee and may be admitted to WSU on warning or probation according to the current
Academic Standards Policy.

There are no admissions deadlines; however, transfer students should plan to apply by the following dates for each semester:

    Fall--- April 1st
    Spring--- November 1st
    Summer ---March 1st

Applying by the above dates will ensure that the students transfer courses are appropriately articulated. An early admission also allows transfer students the additional time to apply for scholarships, attend orientation, meet with an advisor, and register for courses.
