Students who pass the CLEP exam may receive credit from Weber State University by doing the following:
1. Fill out the Application for Test Credit form;
2. Pay a $10 recording fee to the Cashier's Office (stamp verification required);
3. Bring the completed form and your examination results to the Admissions Office in SC 201.
The following is a list of Exams which have been accepted by academic departments for granting CLEP credit. The amount of credit awarded in each area may vary with scores.

*Adequate scores on both American History I and American History II will fulfill the American Institutions (AI) Requirement.
Students who have already taken courses which satisfy or partially satisfy General Education requirements will only be eligible for partial credit. Students who have previously enrolled in the General Education area requirements may not be eligible for credit through CLEP Exams.
