You're the parent of a Weber State Wildcat. Your student's starting college, and if you're wondering what to do now, you're not alone. Join us and other family members of freshman for our Parent Information Session.
We will cover topics like:
- Academic Advising
- Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
- Student Support Services
- How to support your student and more.
Just come the evening that works for you and learn about this next phase of your students' education. You’ll also get to meet and mingle with other parents & family members of WSU freshmen. We’ll provide the refreshments.
The first session will be held at the Davis Campus:
- Thursday, June 13, 2013: 5-6 p.m.
Remaining sessions will be held in the Shepherd Union Building Ballrooms on the Ogden Campus:
- Tuesday, June 25, 2013: 5-6 p.m.
- Wednesday, July 17, 2013: 5-6 p.m.
*Summer sessions are geared toward parents and family members of new freshman students starting Fall 2013 semester. New freshman should sign up for New Student Orientation by clicking here.
