Dear Boys’ State Delegate:

Congratulations on your decision to attend Utah Boys’ State. The Boys’ State curriculum sponsored by the American Legion in partnership with Weber State University provides an opportunity to gain an enhanced understanding of responsibilities and opportunities associated with citizenship, government process, and public service.

The curriculum will help you develop new friendships with high school seniors representing school districts throughout the state of Utah. A variety of volunteers, educators, veterans, and public officials unite to make this one of the best Boys’ State programs in the country. I extend my appreciation for the volunteer efforts that make Utah Boys’ State possible.

As young citizens and future leaders, I encourage you to take full advantage of this educational opportunity. I look forward to visiting with you during the week. Best wishes to each of you.
