proficiency in math and/or English pay a Developmental Fee. Below are

What is the Developmental Fee?
An additional fee assessed to students who are not proficient in either Math or English or both.
Who pays the Developmental Fee?
All Weber State University students who are lacking
proficiency in Math and/or English pay the Developmental Fee. This
includes, but is not limited to, the following: early college students,
concurrent enrollment students, incoming freshmen, transfer students,
adult re-entry students, off-campus students, and faculty/staff. The
only exception is students who are enrolled in Independent Study
classes only.
How much is the Developmental Fee?
The Developmental Fee is $50 per semester.
How long do I have to pay the Developmental Fee?
Students requiring (0960 English/1010 Math) will be
charged an additional fee for each semester until they have reached
English proficiency and Math proficiency. |
